Beyonce Sets New Grammy Record

Budrigannews.com – Beyonce broke the record for most career wins at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, but she lost to British singer Harry Styles again in the prestigious album of the year category.
Beyonce now has 32 Grammy Awards, more than the late classical conductor Georg Solti did. She added four more to her collection.
The 41-year-old “Break My Soul” singer has had a lot of success over the years, but she has never won a trophy for best album. That honor went to Styles for “Harry’s House” on Sunday.
Styles, surprised as he accepted the award, said, “I’ve been so inspired by every artist in this category.” It is evidently crucial for us to keep in mind that there is no such thing as the best music on nights like this one.”
Numerous artists shared the top honors with Grammy voters.
“About Damn Time” by Lizzo won record of the year.
She said that the late Prince had inspired her to make positive music, so she gave the award to him. Lizzo also gave Beyonce a standing ovation and talked about how she skipped fifth grade to see the “Halo” singer perform live.
Lizzo stated, “You clearly are the artist of our lives.”
“Just Like That,” a song by blues singer Bonnie Raitt about an organ donor, won song of the year.
Beyonce, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, Lizzo, British singer Adele, and Swedish hitmaker ABBA were among the formidable and diverse competitors that Styles defeated.
Beyonce took the stage as she won the Grammy for best dance/electronic album for “Renaissance,” establishing the all-time record.
“I try not to get too emotional right now. Beyonce stated, “I am just trying to receive this evening.” I want to praise God for keeping me safe. God, I praise you.”
In addition, she expressed gratitude to her family as well as “the queer community for your love and for inventing the genre.”
Beyonce was absent when she won the award for best R&B song for “Cuff It” earlier in the year. Trevor Noah, the host, stated that the singer was stuck in traffic. At her seat in the audience, he later presented her with the trophy.
“Un Verano Sin Ti” won Bad Bunny the award for best urban music album. Kendrick Lamar won the award for best rap album with “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.”
The Recording Academy’s roughly 11,000 members chose the recipients.
Best new artist went to Samara Joy, an American jazz singer.
“Oh my goodness. She stated, “I’ve been watching you all on TV for so long.” I am greatly inspired by you all.
