White House says Biden will visit Florida, Georgia following storm Helene

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden will visit on Thursday communities in Florida and Georgia impacted by Hurricane Helene, the White House said on Wednesday.

Biden was visiting North and South Carolina on Wednesday. To date, more than $10 million has been provided directly to those affected by Hurricane Helene, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said.
