Walt Disney May Switch to 4-Day Working Week in Office
By Ray Johnson
Budrigannews.com – (NYSE:) Walt Disney According to reports, the media and entertainment conglomerate’s employees have been informed by Chief Executive Bob Iger that they will need to work from its corporate offices four days per week beginning on March 1.
In November, following the troubled tenure of former CEO Bob Chapek, Iger assumed control of Disney.
According to CNBC, an email they obtained showed that Iger had stressed the significance of in-person collaboration. According to reports, he told Disney employees that “nothing can replace the ability to connect, observe, and create with peers that comes from being physically together” in “a creative business like ours.”
Companies started allowing their employees to work from home as a result of the pandemic. This practice has continued in many workplaces long after restrictions and Covid-related guidance were lifted.
Disney, on the other hand, wants to bring employees back to a more pre-pandemic work environment, so Iger’s four-day-a-week office rule is stricter than many other large companies’ hybrid models.
