(Reuters) – Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ:WBA) contributed to the opioid epidemic in San Francisco through its sale of prescription drugs in the city, a federal judge concluded on Wednesday.

The amount the pharmacy chain must pay will be determined in a later trial.
