Baker Hughes Co (NASDAQ:BKR) stock fell 7.8% as it saw deteriorating oil demand and sales and earnings fell short of expectations.

Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX) shares rose 7% after the streaming giant said it lost fewer customers in the second quarter than it initially feared it would and was prepared for growth to return in the third quarter.
- Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ:COIN) shares jumped 12% after the crypto exchange benefitted from a bounce in Bitcoin itself. The largest cryptocurrency was up 2% on Wednesday to around $23,600.

Bath & Body Works Inc. (NYSE:BBWI) shares were up 5% after the company lowered expectations for the quarter and the fiscal year, citing inflationary pressure and a shift in consumer behavior.

Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG) shares rose 0.8% after The Information reported the parent of Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) would pause hiring for two weeks. Last week, it said it was going to slow hiring, becoming one of the latest tech giants to take a cautionary approach given economic uncertainty.
