United Airlines expects pilots to strike
Budrigannews.com – The Assembled Aircrafts Property (NASDAQ:) In a letter to pilots on Friday, the union chair stated that the Inc pilots’ union has unanimously authorized a strike vote.

Pilots at Delta Air Lines (NYSE:) have been waiting for months for this action. ratified a contract that calls for four-year pay and benefit increases totaling more than $7 billion.
Industry authorities say Delta’s new agreement has turned into a benchmark for contract dealings in North America.
A spokesperson for United Airlines stated, “We have offered our pilots an industry-leading deal and we’re actively working with ALPA to reach an agreement,” adding that United flights will continue to operate as planned while negotiations continue.
Unions have been using the move toward a strike vote as a bargaining tactic in contract negotiations; however, a strike mandate does not imply that pilots will strike.
Joined’s agreement came up for reestablishment in 2019 and dealings have been in progress for a considerable length of time.
