Ukraine has reduced grain exports by almost 30%

Budrigannews.com – According to data provided by the agriculture ministry on Monday, Ukraine has exported almost 23.6 million tonnes of grain thus far in the 2022/23 season, a decrease from the 33.5 million tonnes exported by the same point in the previous season.
There were approximately 8.6 million tons of wheat, 13.3 million tons of corn, and 1.7 million tons of barley in the volume.
At the end of July, a deal between Moscow and Kyiv that was mediated by the United Nations and Turkey saw the unblocking of three Ukrainian Black Sea ports, which had been blocked for almost six months due to the Russian invasion.

Due to the loss of land to Russian forces and lower yields, the government has stated that Ukraine could harvest approximately 51 million tonnes of grain this year, down from a record 86 million tonnes in 2021.
