Uber, Waymo bring autonomous ride hailing to Austin, Atlanta

(Reuters) – Ride-hailing platform Uber Technologies (NYSE:) said on Friday it would bring autonomous ride hailing to Austin, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia, in partnership with Alphabet (NASDAQ:)’s Waymo.

Shares of Uber jumped over 6% in premarket trading.
