U.S. Senate supported Russian Ambassador before Zelensky meeting
Budrigannews.com – Hours before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was to become the rare wartime world leader to address a joint meeting of Congress, the U.S. Senate supported the nomination of Lynne Tracy as President Joe Biden’s nominee to be ambassador to Russia.
By a margin of 56 to 1, senators were in favor of Tracy as voting continued.

The first woman to serve as U.S. ambassador to Russia will be career diplomat Tracy, who is currently ambassador to Armenia.
