U.S. Oil Stockpiles Rose 2.421 Million Barrels Last Week: EIA

Investing.com — U.S. oil stockpiles unexpectedly rose in the latest week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
Crude inventories climbed by 2.421 million barrels last week, compared with analysts’ expectations for a draw of 2.056 million barrels.
Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, also rose by 0.771 million barrels in the week against expectations for a draw of 0.819 million barrels, the EIA data showed.
Gasoline inventories, on the other hand, declined by 2.041 million barrels last week, the EIA said, compared with expectations for a build of 0.063 million barrels.
