U. S. demands to resume inspection of nuclear weapons

Budrigannews.com – Given Washington’s support for Ukraine, the Russian foreign ministry declared on Wednesday that the United States’ demands to resume inspections under the New START nuclear arms control treaty were “cynical.”
According to the RIA news agency, the ministry also stated in remarks that were published by Russian news agencies that Washington’s actions toward Russia posed a “real risk” of a direct military conflict between the two nuclear powers.
Moscow and Washington were supposed to meet in November to discuss restarting inspections under the New START treaty, but they were called off at the last minute.
