U.S. Crude Inventories Unexpectedly Drop 0.4M Barrels in Latest Week: EIA

Investing.com — U.S. crude oil inventories fell in the latest week against expectations for a build, according to the Energy Information Administration.
Crude oil inventories declined by 0.446 million barrels against expectations for a build of 1.357 million barrels and after the massive 8-million-barrel build the prior week.
Distillate stocks also declined, by 1.295 million barrels. The expectation had been for a build of 1.169 million barrels.
Gasoline inventories jumped by 3.498 million barrels against expectations for a build of 0.071 million barrels.
