U. S. court again allows to carry gun in New York

Budrigannews.com – On Monday, a federal judge in New York temporarily suspended many aspects of the state’s new gun restrictions to allow gun owners’ rights advocates to continue their lawsuit against the law, which they claim violates the Constitution.
At the request of six residents of New York who are members of Gun Owners of America, which competes with the National Rifle Association in terms of political influence, Judge Glenn Suddaby of the U.S. District Court in Syracuse agreed to issue the order.
He stated in his order that New York officials could not compel applicants for a gun license to disclose a list of their household members or their social media handles, two important provisions of the Concealed Carry Improvement Act that went into effect on September 1.
He also slashed New York’s new list of “sensitive places” where owning a gun, even with a license, is now a felony, writing that the state can’t ban guns in theaters, bars, parks, airports, and other public places.
