By Ray Johnson
Budrigannews.com – Kurt Campbell, the White House’s Indo-Pacific coordinator, said on Tuesday that President Joe Biden and Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida had “very productive” talks last week about China’s export controls on semiconductors.
Campbell informed a gathering of the Center for Strategic and International Studies that Biden had brought up the matter.
At the same event, Koji Tomita, Japan’s Ambassador to the United States, stated that both parties anticipated making progress on the semiconductor issue in the coming weeks.
