Twitter is hacked the data of users in network
Budrigannews.com – After a breach in the last week of December 2022 exposed the private information of 400 million Twitter users, 200 million users’ personal information, including their email addresses, was sold.
The hacker responsible for the breach in December had previously warned Twitter that the stolen data would be released for free if the demand for $200,000 was not met. The most recent set of data that was uploaded to the hacker forum has been linked to the same breach that occurred in December 2022.

Privacy Affairs researchers confirmed that the leaked data set on the hacker forum is the same as the one that was released in December. In this instance, the removal of duplicates was the source of the 200 million figure. Phone numbers have not been included in the released data set. These data sets could be used for social engineering or “doxing” campaigns, according to the researchers.
After removing duplicates and compressing the files, the most recent data set, which was originally 63GB in size, was reduced to 4GB and made available for free download.
The hacker also mentioned that an examination of the dates of the original files and account creation “strongly suggest” that this was gathered between the beginning of November 2021 and December 14, 2021.
Due to the fact that these hacks put activists and whistleblowers in danger, numerous Twitter users demanded that the social media platform investigate security issues.

Sundar Pichai, Donald Trump Jr., SpaceX, CBS Media, the NBA, and the WHO are among the well-known and well-known individuals and organizations. The vulnerability caused by the data breach has now been fixed. However, if we go back to the hack, it appears that the same flaw was used in a subsequent exploit in July 2022.
