Turkish ministry reports record trade deficit in 2022

Budrigannews.com – According to a report released on Monday by the Trade Ministry, the Turkish trade deficit increased by 138.4% in 2022 to $110.19 billion. The increase was caused by an increase in imports of 34.3% and exports of 12.9% to $254.2 billion.

In December, the import/export imbalance broadened 52% from a year sooner to $10.381 billion, with trades up 3.1% to $22.92 billion and imports rising 14.6% to $33.30 billion.
