Trump met with rapper Ye
Budrigannews.com – This week, Ye, the rapper who used to be known as Kanye West and has been criticized for recent anti-Semitic remarks, and a white supremacist who was accompanied by Ye dined at Trump’s resort in Mar-a-Lago.
Karen Giorno, a former senior adviser to Trump’s 2016 campaign, confirmed that she dined with Trump, Ye, and Nick Fuentes, one of the nation’s most well-known white nationalist leaders, on Tuesday. She stated that another unknown individual attended as well.
On his Truth Social website, the former president claimed to have dined with Ye on Tuesday and that the rapper “unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about.”
Ye had asked Trump “for advice regarding some of his difficulties, in particular having to do with his business,” Trump stated. We also talked politics, though less frequently. I told him that he should never run for president and that “any voters you may have should vote for TRUMP.”Anyway, we got along great, and he didn’t hate Jews.
Trump continued, Also, I had never heard of Nick Fuentes.”
The incident was covered by Axios and other news outlets earlier on Friday.
Fuentes is well-known for starting the America First Foundation, which he says was inspired by Trump and promotes “conservative values based on principles of American nationalism, Christianity, and traditionalism.” On the website of the organization, he says that.
According to the New York Times, Fuentes is a Holocaust denier who, in his podcast, has recently demanded that Jews leave the country and called for the military to enter Black neighborhoods.
Fuentes has established connections to some prominent members of the Republican Party despite his outspoken anti-Semitism and racism. Republican Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Republican Representative Paul Gosar of Arizona have previously attended Fuentes’ annual America First Political Action Conference.
After Ye made a number of racist and anti-Semitic remarks, including posting on Twitter that “I’m going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” Adidas AG and other businesses have cut ties with him.
In January, the House Committee that was looking into the insurrection that took place on Jan. 6, 2021, at the US Capitol made the announcement that it had subpoenaed Fuentes and far-right figure Patrick Casey for testimony regarding their promotion of false claims regarding the 2020 election and their calls for the demise of the Republican Party.
Trump reported on Nov. 15 that he’s running again for president in 2024, even after certain conservatives faulted him for the Conservative Faction’s disheartening outcomes in the midterm decisions since applicants he embraced in key races were viewed as excessively outrageous by citizens.
