The Sandbox Alpha Season 3 Brings Crazy Summer Vibes To The Metaverse
In the latest announcement, The Sandbox has revealed its plans for the summer. The Alpha Season 3 will bring along over 90 experiences, quests, raffles, and much more. The metaverse has promised a jam-packed 10 weeks of summer with endless action.
Along with new experiences, Alpha Season 3 has tweaked interoperability with support for external avatars. Further, holders will receive guaranteed rewards and top players on the leaderboard will get huge SAND rewards.
The Sandbox Alpha Season 3: What the Action-Packed Summer Looks Like
The metaverse has planned to release more than 90 experiences over the course of 10 summer weeks. Aside from the experiences,

- The biggest season of The Sandbox will include single and multiplayer experiences
- Players can complete quests for Ethos Points
- To win the Alpha Pass and SAND rewards, players can take part in the Raffle or climb up the leaderboard

Celebrities are Gearing Up for the Summer Update
The Sandbox is known to bring on celebrities, brands, music artists, movies, popular IPs, and more. The summer weeks are jam-packed with several well-known names, which include:
- The Walking Dead
- Deadmau5
- Snoop Dogg
- The Smurfs
- Ubisoft’s Rabbids
- Atari
- World of Women
- Warner Music Group
- Steve Aoki
Apart from these, there will be 16 Game Jams, 12 user-generated experiences, 17 experiences from The Sandbox, and 20 experiences supported by The Sandbox Game Maker Fund.
Alpha Season 3 to Bring External Avatar, Rewards for Holders & More
With each season, The Sandbox adds new features and content for the players. The third Alpha season will have increased interoperability with external avatars, special rewards for holders, and more.
- Playable External Avatars
The Sandbox has voxelized avatars from 13 popular NFT collections. The the140,000 avatars will be playable across experiences in the new season. For instance, players can use the Rabbids avatar in The Walking Dead experience.
- Holders to Get Guaranteed Rewards
Supporters of The Sandbox project will be given exclusive rewards. Holding certain NFTs will reward players at the end of the season. As per the official post, NFT holders, Avatar holders, and LAND owners will receive SAND and other rewards without the Alpha Pass.
- Leaderboard and Ethos Points
The Sandbox is giving away 1.5 M SAND to the top-ranking players for Alpha Season 3. Players can push their ranks up by collecting Ethos Points (EPs). To get EPs, players have to complete quests as soon as possible.
Further, the quests are replayable so players can outdo themselves every time. The top 5000 players will be rewarded SAND. The #1 player will get a whopping 30,000 SAND reward. The prizes will be claimable after the season ends.
