According to campaign finance data compiled by OpenSecrets, a nonprofit that tracks money in politics, outside groups have spent more than $43 million on advertisements and other expenses during the runoff election either in support of Warnock or in opposition to Walker. This is in contrast to the expenditure of $28 million for Walker’s or Warnock’s opposition.
