According to the memo, Petitgas, whose tenure at the U.S. investment bank spans three decades, intends to continue collaborating with the bank’s international business leaders.He oversees operations outside of the United States, including key clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, in his current position.He will step down from this position on January 1st.

In 1993, Petitgas moved to New York and became a vice president for Morgan Stanley.In 1997, he was made managing director, and in 2012, he was made a member of the operating committee.
