Tesla recalls about 100 000 cars due to a defect
Budrigannews.com – A statement released on Friday by the Chinese market regulator revealed that Tesla Inc. is recalling more than 80,000 cars that were manufactured in China and imported from as early as 2013 due to software and seat belt issues.
Due to software issues affecting the battery management system in the vehicles, the electric car manufacturer with headquarters in the United States has recalled 67,698 Model S and Model X vehicles imported to China between September 25, 2013 and November 21, 2020.
NASDAQ: Tesladeclared that it would update the software on the recalled cars.
Additionally, between October 14, 2019 and September 26, 2022, 10,127 Chinese-made Model 3s manufactured between January and November 2019 were recalled by Tesla.It stated that this was because of a possible defective seat belt installation, which Tesla will examine and reinstall.
