Terrorist attack in Paris claimed lives of 3 people
Budrigannews.com – A shooter started shooting at a Kurdish social place and close by Kurdish bistro in focal Paris on Friday, killing three individuals and injuring three others, and examiners said they were investigating a potential bigoted rationale in the assault.
On Rue d’Enghien, a street lined with small shops and cafes in the capital’s busy central 10th arrondissement, multiple shots were fired, causing panic.
A 69-year-old man was arrested, according to the authorities. The suspect, according to Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau, had recently been released from detention while awaiting trial for a separate sabre attack on a Paris migrant camp a year earlier. She stated that racist motives could not be ruled out by authorities.
According to Juan-Golan Eliberg, an artist who works at the Kurdish center, the shooter had his sights set on Kurds.
Mehmet Dilek, an eyewitness, told Reuters that he first heard gunshots followed by screams coming from inside a barbershop that was next to the cultural center. Spectators curbed the shooter when he needed to reload his gun, Dilek added.
“For someone who has never experienced worry in their life, it might be shocking. However, “this is how life is for us Kurds; we grew up under the threat of weapons and bombs,” he continued.
According to district mayor Alexandra Cordebard, the incident was a “terrible drama.” She stated that one of the wounded had injuries that threatened his or her life.
According to Julien Verplancke, a worker at Chez Minna, a different local restaurant, the Kurdish employees fled the premises in tears following the shooting.
Reuters was unable to get in touch with the suspect’s representatives right away. According to BFM TV, the suspect is French.
On Friday, images of a white man being led away from the scene with his hands cuffed behind his back showed him wearing a grey top and filthy white trainers.
As investigators searched the scene several hours later, armed police were still guarding a security cordon.

Manslaughter, aggravated violence, and murder have all been the subject of an investigation.
A well-known member of Marseille’s Kurdish community, Salih Azad, claimed to know one of the victims, a 26-year-old woman who had lived in Paris for some time.
He declared, “She was well integrated socially and culturally.”
Since the well-publicized murders of three Kurdish women a decade ago, Kurds in France have been calling for increased community security.
