Taiwan raises 2024 economic growth forecast, AI demand solid

TAIPEI (Reuters) – Taiwan’s economy is expected to expand by 4.27% in 2024, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics said on Friday, upgrading its outlook from a previous estimate of 3.9%.
Gross domestic product rose by a revised 4.17% in the third quarter from a year earlier, compared with a preliminary 3.97%, it said.
