For this purpose, financial reports, key performance indicators and economic news are used.

Interaction of Technical and Fundamental Analysis

1. Definition of Trading Signals: Technical analysis can identify key entry or exit points from positions that are supported by fundamental data. Investors are looking for synchronization between technical signals, such as the intersection of moving averages, and fundamental events, such as the release of positive financial reports.

2. Risk Management: Technical analysis can help in determining stop loss levels and target levels based on historical data. Fundamental analysis, in turn, provides a context for determining the overall risk of an investment and assessing the company’s prospects for the long term.

3. Evaluation of Long-term Investments: Fundamental analysis is often used when making decisions about long-term investments based on the company’s fundamentals, its development strategy and market prospects. Technical analysis can be an additional tool for determining the optimal entry points.
