Starbucks to Appoint Laxman Narasimhan as CEO

Investing.com — Starbucks said Thursday that Laxman Narasimhan will take over as chief executive in April.

Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) was nearly 1% higher in afterhours trading.

Narasimhan will join Starbucks from Reckitt Benckiser as incoming CEO on Oct. 1, and takes over from Howard Schultz who returned to lead the company as interim CEO earlier this year in March.
