South Korea raises planes to intercept North Korean Korean fighters

Budrigannews.com – After detecting about 180 North Korean warplanes flying north of the military border for four hours on Friday, the South Korean military said it scrambled fighter jets.
According to a statement released by the South Korean military, the North Korean aircraft flew north of the so-called tactical measure line, which is located up to 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of the Military Demarcation Line (MDL).
In response, 80 aircraft, including F-35A stealth fighters, were scrambled by South Korea. According to the military, the drills were continued by approximately 240 United States aircraft participating in the Vigilant Storm air exercises.
Last month, a flight of ten North Korean warplanes performed similar maneuvers, triggering the mobilization of South Korean aircraft.
After launching more than 80 rounds of artillery into the sea overnight and multiple missile launches into the sea on Thursday, including a possible failed intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), North Korea carried out the maneuvers.
The launches prompted the expansion of air drills by the United States and South Korea, which enraged Pyongyang.
