Sony says to buy land in Kumamoto, Japan for image sensor production

TOKYO (Reuters) – Sony (NYSE:) Group Corp said on Thursday its semiconductor subsidiary would buy land in the southern Japanese prefecture of Kumamoto to produce image sensors.
