Budrigannews.com – According to the York Regional Police department, a shooting at a condominium in Canada’s Vaughan city, just north of Toronto, resulted in the deaths of five victims and one suspect.
Police released a statement early on Monday, stating that another victim is in critical condition at the hospital.
On Sunday evening, there was a report that an “active male shooter who had shot several victims” had entered a residential building on Jane Street, north of Rutherford Road. The police were called there to investigate.
According to the police, the suspect was shot during an encounter with them and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An examination is dynamic and progressing, the police said in the explanation, adding that there could be no further danger to public security.
