According to two sources with knowledge of the electric vehicle (EV) giant’s production plan, Reuters reported on Monday that Model Y output at the plant was expected to decrease by more than 20% compared to November. Bloomberg was the first to report the decrease in output, claiming that it was due to sluggish demand.
A Tesla representative responded later on Monday, “false news,” without providing additional details.
TESLA’s stock is down 5.91 percent in midday trading on Monday.
