Budrigannews.com – Tesla – (NASDAQ:) largest electric vehicle manufacturer-delivered Pepsico NASDAQ on Thursday: the first heavy-duty semi-trailer device without forecasts about truck prices, production plans and load capacity.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, appeared in public for the first time after leading Twitter in an event that took place at the company’s plant in Nevada. He stated that the battery-powered diesel truck has surpassed diesel models in power, safety, will reduce emissions on the road and will launch the fast charge technology that Tesla uses in its next Cybertruck, and will also be used by fast charging technology.
Musk noted that five years have passed since Tesla announced an all-electric truck: “If you are truckers and you want the coolest installation on the road, this is what you want.” In 2017 Tesla reported that a semi-trailer with a range of 300-500 miles should cost 150 and 180 thousand dollars, but since then the price of a Tesla passenger electric car has increased.
Recently, the chairman of the board of “Tesla” Robin Denholm said that this year the company can produce 100 new semi-finished products. According to Musk, Tesla’s goal is to create 50,000 trucks by 2024.
In 2017, Pepsico placed an order for 100 trucks and completed the first flight of a Tesla truck to deliver snacks to participants of the launch event in Nevada.
On Friday, in pre-market trading, TSLA and PEP shares rose by 0.22% and 0.56%, respectively, by 0.22% and 0.56%.
