Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 2.91%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Cement, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 2.91%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which rose 4.76% or 3.40 points to trade at 74.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380) added 4.41% or 0.76 points to end at 18.00 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was up 3.86% or 0.52 points to 13.98 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090), which fell 9.99% or 2.32 points to trade at 20.90 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) declined 7.46% or 1.14 points to end at 14.14 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211) was down 7.27% or 4.00 points to 51.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 208 to 26 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.99% or 2.32 to 20.90.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 5.85% or 6.41 to $103.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 5.25% or 6.02 to hit $108.63 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 4.70 to trade at $1,843.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.99.
