Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.38%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Cement, Petrochemicals and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010), which rose 3.68% or 2.70 points to trade at 76.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Services Co. (TADAWUL:2190) added 3.03% or 0.72 points to end at 24.46 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) was up 2.75% or 0.75 points to 28.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bawan (TADAWUL:1302), which fell 4.76% or 1.95 points to trade at 39.00 at the close. SABIC AgriNutrients Co (TADAWUL:2020) declined 4.71% or 8.60 points to end at 174.00 and Riyad Bank (TADAWUL:1010) was down 4.70% or 1.75 points to 35.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 184 to 46 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.46% or 1.34 to $90.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.39% or 1.36 to hit $96.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 7.25 to trade at $1,729.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 3.77, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.06% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 108.85.
