Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.12%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Cement and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.12% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fitaihi Holding Group (TADAWUL:4180), which rose 9.98% or 3.15 points to trade at 34.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hammadi Co (TADAWUL:4007) added 6.73% or 2.65 points to end at 42.00 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:2280) was up 3.39% or 1.70 points to 51.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100), which fell 8.51% or 1.86 points to trade at 20.00 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) declined 8.16% or 1.72 points to end at 19.36 and Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212) was down 8.16% or 4.00 points to 45.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 199 to 33 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) fell to 52-week lows; losing 8.16% or 1.72 to 19.36.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.66% or 4.49 to $91.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 3.81% or 3.79 to hit $95.78 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.08% or 36.10 to trade at $1,699.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.91% to 3.74, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.14% at 108.99.
