Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.84% – Budrigannews.com
Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300), which rose 7.44% or 0.90 points to trade at 13.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AXA Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8250) added 5.00% or 1.20 points to end at 25.20 and Baazeem Trading Co (TADAWUL:4051) was up 4.29% or 2.80 points to 68.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190), which fell 9.89% or 1.58 points to trade at 14.40 at the close. Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:4081) declined 5.51% or 1.50 points to end at 25.70 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:2040) was down 3.79% or 1.40 points to 35.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 70 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.89% or 1.58 to 14.40.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.28% or 1.21 to $95.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.88% or 0.87 to hit $99.25 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 11.30 to trade at $1,716.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.34% to 3.85, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 106.17.
