Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.75%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Energy & Utilities and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.75% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280), which rose 9.90% or 0.90 points to trade at 9.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201) added 5.85% or 10.00 points to end at 180.80 and Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:6020) was up 5.73% or 1.26 points to 23.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310), which fell 10.00% or 2.90 points to trade at 26.10 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270) declined 10.00% or 2.38 points to end at 21.42 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) was down 9.97% or 9.70 points to 87.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 63 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.42% or 0.46 to $110.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $109.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 3.90 to trade at $1,845.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 103.01.
