Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.25% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.99% or 1.52 points to trade at 16.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.87% or 3.35 points to end at 37.30 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was up 9.67% or 13.40 points to 152.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 8.94% or 10.80 points to trade at 110.00 at the close. Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:) declined 7.10% or 9.60 points to end at 125.60 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (TADAWUL:) was down 6.44% or 10.60 points to 154.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 135 to 127 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.10% or 9.60 to 125.60.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.09% or 0.89 to $81.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.11% or 0.95 to hit $84.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 7.85 to trade at $1,962.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.61% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.67% at 102.54.
