Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 20.00 points to trade at 220.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.95% or 4.85 points to end at 53.60 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:) was up 6.98% or 1.02 points to 15.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 8.93% or 1.52 points to trade at 15.50 at the close. Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:) declined 7.45% or 2.15 points to end at 26.70 and Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:) was down 5.05% or 0.96 points to 18.04.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 118 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.95% or 4.85 to 53.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.44% or 0.31 to $69.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.35% or 0.26 to hit $75.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 7.45 to trade at $1,948.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 102.85.
