Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.04%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 9.98% or 5.00 points to trade at 55.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) added 5.19% or 0.98 points to end at 19.88 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (TADAWUL:2340) was up 3.42% or 0.76 points to 23.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Rajhi Bank (TADAWUL:1120), which fell 37.37% or 67.20 points to trade at 112.60 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) declined 9.88% or 42.60 points to end at 388.40 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8040) was down 5.62% or 1.22 points to 20.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 109 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8040) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.62% or 1.22 to 20.50.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.61% or 2.86 to $106.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.38% or 2.67 to hit $109.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 20.63 to trade at $1,862.17 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 103.93.
