Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.82%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Transport and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.82% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012), which rose 9.99% or 1.40 points to trade at 15.42 at the close. Meanwhile, ALABDULLATIF CO. (TADAWUL:2340) added 9.95% or 2.08 points to end at 22.98 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) was up 9.91% or 3.35 points to 37.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which fell 3.08% or 3.10 points to trade at 97.50 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) declined 2.98% or 5.60 points to end at 182.60 and Baazeem Trading Co (TADAWUL:4051) was down 2.63% or 2.10 points to 77.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 160 to 65 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.76% or 2.50 to $88.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.48% or 2.39 to hit $93.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1,812.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.18% to 3.88, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.31% at 104.86.
