Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.80%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Cement and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.80% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211), which rose 9.97% or 6.40 points to trade at 70.60 at the close. Meanwhile, United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) added 9.86% or 1.02 points to end at 11.36 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) was up 8.59% or 1.06 points to 13.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Company for Hardware (TADAWUL:4008), which fell 3.56% or 1.40 points to trade at 37.90 at the close. Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012) declined 3.50% or 0.54 points to end at 14.88 and Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) was down 2.94% or 2.00 points to 66.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 143 to 86 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.03% or 0.95 to $92.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.88% or 0.86 to hit $98.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.65 to trade at $1,811.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 3.89, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 104.68.
