Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.68%
Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which rose 7.49% or 7.80 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) added 6.74% or 1.95 points to end at 30.90 and Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) was up 5.79% or 7.60 points to 138.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lazurde for Jewelry Co (TADAWUL:4011), which fell 3.43% or 0.56 points to trade at 15.76 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) declined 3.29% or 0.66 points to end at 19.38 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) was down 2.42% or 0.26 points to 10.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 121 to 106 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) rose to all time highs; up 5.79% or 7.60 to 138.80.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.68% or 1.46 to $88.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.62% or 1.50 to hit $94.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 8.25 to trade at $1,736.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.99% to 3.81, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 107.90.
