Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.60%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Industrial Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020), which rose 8.81% or 2.04 points to trade at 25.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:2170) added 6.90% or 5.10 points to end at 79.00 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) was up 6.27% or 13.80 points to 234.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which fell 27.24% or 8.43 points to trade at 22.52 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) declined 2.18% or 0.38 points to end at 17.06 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) was down 1.99% or 0.42 points to 20.72.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 69 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) fell to 52-week lows; falling 27.24% or 8.43 to 22.52. Shares in Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:2170) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.90% or 5.10 to 79.00. Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.99% or 0.42 to 20.72.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.88% or 0.92 to $103.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.66% or 0.72 to hit $108.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.04% or 20.60 to trade at $1,964.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.95% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.70% at 100.61.
