Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.48%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 10.00% or 1.50 points to trade at 16.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120) added 9.94% or 3.35 points to end at 37.05 and National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090) was up 9.90% or 2.46 points to 27.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310), which fell 5.23% or 0.72 points to trade at 13.04 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) declined 3.94% or 0.44 points to end at 10.74 and Taleem REIT Fund (TADAWUL:4333) was down 3.68% or 0.46 points to 12.04.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 100 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.23% or 0.72 to 13.04.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.70% or 1.90 to $113.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.82% or 2.07 to hit $115.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.90 to trade at $1,819.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 3.94, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.04% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 104.54.
