Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.05%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Multi Investment and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270), which rose 9.99% or 17.80 points to trade at 196.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212) added 6.28% or 3.05 points to end at 51.60 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) was up 5.43% or 8.60 points to 167.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270), which fell 7.09% or 1.46 points to trade at 19.14 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) declined 5.59% or 1.70 points to end at 28.70 and Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) was down 4.75% or 1.50 points to 30.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 135 to 99 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.99% or 17.80 to 196.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 4.01% or 3.63 to $86.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 4.04% or 3.91 to hit $92.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 11.60 to trade at $1,751.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.58% to 3.75, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 108.59.
