Ryanair has reached agreement with pilots
Budrigannews.com – Ryanair announced on Tuesday that it had reached a four-year pay agreement with the Irish pilots’ union, which includes the immediate restoration of pay that was reduced to assist the airline with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, the budget airline stated that all of its pilot unions, with the exception of those in Ireland and Belgium, had reached similar agreements. A request for information regarding the talks in Belgium was not immediately met with a response.
In a statement, Ryanair People Director Darrell Hughes said, “This agreement, which includes annual pay increases for the next four years, now brings our Irish pilots into line with similar pay restoration deals concluded with our other pilot unions across Europe.”
According to Ryanair, negotiations at the nation’s Workplace Relations Commission led to the agreement of the deal.
