As a show of strength to its neighbors in the Far East, Russia has continued to conduct regular strategic bomber flights despite being mired in its war with Ukraine thousands of miles away. It collaborated with China to conduct joint patrols over the Sea of Japan and East China Sea last month.
The most recent mission, according to the defense ministry, was carried out in accordance with international airspace regulations and was a regular flight over what it referred to as the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black, Baltic, and Pacific Oceans.
