Russia’s Central Bank Cuts Key Rate to 7.5%

Investing.com — has lowered its key interest rate by 50 basis points to 7.5% on Friday, in line with economists’ estimates.
It marks the six straight cut to borrowing costs this year. The central bank had previously increased the main rate to 20% from 9.5% earlier in 2022 following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
