Russia declares contacts with U. S.

Budrigannews.com – Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated on Wednesday that Moscow occasionally communicated with officials from the United States.
She claimed that these interactions occurred between unidentified government agencies in both nations, but that the Russian foreign ministry was not involved.
Zakharova confirmed that consultations between the United States and Russia on the New START nuclear arms reduction treaty, the last arms control agreement between the two largest nuclear powers in the world, would take place soon.
