Putin issued threatening warning to EU after Biden’s visit to Ukraine

Budrigannews.com – On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a nuclear warning to the West regarding Ukraine, suspended a significant nuclear arms control treaty, announced the deployment of new strategic systems in combat, and warned that Moscow may resume nuclear tests.
Putin stated that Russia would achieve its war goals and accused the West of attempting to destroy Russia in a speech delivered nearly a year to the day after directing an invasion that has sparked the largest conflict with the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.
“The West’s elites do not conceal their goal. “But they also cannot fail to realize that it is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield,” Putin told his nation’s political and military elite in a defiant tone.
Putin stated that Russia would not be participating in the New START Treaty, the last significant arms control agreement between Moscow and Washington, in order to warn the United States that it was escalating the war into a global conflict.
The treaty, which was signed in 2010 by then-President Barack Obama of the United States and his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, limits the number of strategic nuclear warheads that can be deployed by the United States and Russia. In 2026, it was set to expire.
According to Putin’s statement, “I am forced to announce today that Russia is suspending its participation in the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.”
The head of Russia claimed, without providing any evidence, that some Washingtonians were considering restarting nuclear testing. He stated that as a result, Russia’s nuclear corporation and defense ministry ought to be prepared to conduct nuclear weapon tests if necessary.
Naturally, we will not begin with this. However, we will carry out tests if the United States does so. Putin stated, “Nobody ought to have dangerous illusions that global strategic parity can be destroyed.”
“I signed a decree last week authorizing the deployment of new ground-based strategic systems in combat.” Are they going to get involved as well, or what?”
It was unclear at the time which ground-based systems had been assigned combat roles. Putin made reference to the Engels air base when he stated that Ukraine had attempted to strike a location deep within Russia where some of Russia’s nuclear bombers are based.
Since the end of the Cold War, Russia and the United States of America have the largest nuclear arsenals of any nuclear power. They hold 90% of the world’s nuclear warheads between them.
Both sides were restricted by the New START Treaty to 1,550 warheads on deployed heavy bombers, submarine ballistic missiles, and intercontinental ballistic missiles. By 2018, both sides had reached the central limits.
In essence, Putin is advising that the West must back off in Ukraine before he can demolish the framework of nuclear arms control, which includes the moratorium on nuclear testing imposed by the major powers.
Wang Yi, China’s top diplomat, made his way to Moscow on Tuesday. He warned against adding nuclear weapons to the conflict in Ukraine.
The conflict in Ukraine represents by far the largest wager made by a Kremlin official since at least the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Western leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, who paid a visit to Kyiv on Monday, believe that he must lose the wager.
Since the war started, Russian forces have lost three major battles, but they still control about one fifth of Ukraine. On both sides, tens of thousands of men have been killed.
Putin pledged to continue until he achieved his goals in Ukraine, speaking for one hour and 45 minutes beneath a large Russian emblem featuring a two-headed eagle and eight tricolor Russian flags.
Putin claimed that the NATO alliance, which is led by the United States, was igniting the conflict in the wrong belief that it could defeat Moscow in a global conflict.
They intend to escalate a regional conflict into a global conflict. “Because in this case we are talking about the existence of our country, this is exactly how we understand it all, and we will react accordingly,” Putin stated.
China and Russia, on the one hand, and Ukraine and the U.S.-led NATO military alliance, on the other, could get into a fight over the Ukraine conflict if Beijing considers providing weapons to Russia, according to the United States.
Putin also tried to justify the war, saying that it had been forced on Russia and that he understood the pain of the families of those who had lost a battle. He also said that he would continue the war and warned the West of a global conflict.
NATO’s expansion eastward since the end of the Cold War, according to the West and Ukraine, is not justification for what they view as an imperial-style land grab doomed to failure.
Putin stated, “The people of Ukraine have become the hostage of the Kyiv regime and its Western overlords, who have effectively occupied this country in the sense of the political, military, and economic.”
They intend to escalate a regional conflict into a global conflict. Since we are discussing the existence of our nation in this instance, we will respond accordingly because this is exactly how we comprehend everything.
The 70-year-old Kremlin chief stated that Russia would never give in to Western attempts to divide its society and that the majority of Russians support the war.
