Putin demands impossible from Russia’s military industry

Budrigannews.com – On Friday, President Vladimir Putin instructed the top executives of Russia’s defense industry to work harder to ensure that the Russian army received all of the weapons, equipment, and military hardware it required to fight in Ukraine as soon as possible.

During a visit to Tula, a center for the production of weapons, Putin made the remarks, describing Russia’s war in Ukraine as part of a historic effort to retaliate against what he claims is excessive Western influence over global affairs.

“Providing our units and frontline forces with everything they need is the most important key task of our military-industrial complex: “In the shortest time possible, weapons, equipment, ammunition, and gear in the required quantities and of the appropriate quality,” Putin stated.

“Based on the combat experience we have gained, it is also important to perfect and significantly improve the technical characteristics of our fighters’ weapons and equipment.”

This week, Putin said that the Russian army had to learn from and fix the problems it had in Ukraine, and he promised to do everything in his power to continue a war that was about to enter its tenth month.

In what Putin referred to as “a special military operation,” tens of thousands of Russian troops invaded Ukraine on February 24. Since then, Moscow has surrendered approximately half of the territory it had initially seized.

It has reportedly killed tens of thousands of people and lost or abandoned a significant amount of military equipment, according to officials from the United States.

Putin has acknowledged that a mobilization campaign to raise 300,000 troops did not go according to plan and has ordered urgent action to address deficiencies, some of which have included a lack of basic equipment and training.

Despite Kyiv receiving billions of dollars in Western weapons, military intelligence, and other assistance, Russia still controls a significant portion of Ukraine, and Putin has stated that Moscow will prevail.

He said this week that the state would “no funding restrictions” ensure the army’s needs were met, but there was no need to “militarize” the economy.

On Friday, he told safeguard industry bosses he needed to hear their recommendations on the most proficient method to figure out undefined issues and believed protection industry experts should work straightforwardly with cutting edge powers to refine weapons and equipment consistently.

There is pressure on the defense industry to deliver.

Last week, a leader of a union in the Urals region told the news agency TASS that companies that handle military orders there had switched to a six-day week with 12-hour shifts.

According to the Zvezda military news channel, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu paid a visit to the Kalashnikov arms factory in Izhevsk on Friday and informed its director that the state would “significantly increase” orders from the plant next year.
